Following many months of searching for my 'retirement' home, I decided to take a look at Carlton Woods and stopped by the sales office during the summer of 2008. Following a tour of the neighborhood, the sales staff introduced me to the idea of building a villa designed and constructed by Jeff Paul Custom Villas. I had had no prior experience in building a home and I certainly had no prior knowledge of Jeff Paul Custom Homes. The substantial concerns I had about proceeding down this path were quickly dispelled, however, when I was introduced to Jeff and his team and we began the project.

During all phases of the project, Jeff and his team were incredibly responsive in terms of addressing my concerns and answering each and every question I posed in a clear and forthright manner. I was regularly informed as to the progress of each phase of the project and I was provided every opportunity to participate in actual construction decisions as the project moved along. When opportunities for 'add-ons' or other modifications were presented, the cost component was clearly explained and then adhered to as the work was done. Decisions as to interior and exterior design - which, to me, could have been an overwhelming part of the process - became a pleasure as Jennifer always managed to present the various options in a clear, concise and easily understandable manner (of course, the decisions were facilitated by the fact that each option presented a high-quality choice). I have to say that Jeff Paul Custom Villas exceeded every expectation that I had going into the project and the end result was a beautiful home that I am thrilled to live in and proud to show to my family and friends.

Jeff Paul and his team did an exceptional job in all respects. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding and the amazing part - the home was completed three months ahead of schedule. On our first visit, we visited several Jeff Paul Custom Villas within Cartouche. While each floor plan was unique and offered its distinct advantages, each represented a consistent quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that was obvious to us. Buying a new home can be stressful. Jeff understands that direct interaction with the builder is important to those building a new home. No detail or question was unimportant, and he and his son Ryan were always there to alleviate concerns and answer questions.

One of the most rewarding parts or our experience with Jeff and Ryan Paul was actually in the several months after we moved in. Sometimes it's the 'little things' that make all the difference when moving into a new home. While it would be easy for a builder to move on once a home is purchased, Jeff and Ryan's interactions were frequent and they were genuinely interested in how we were adjusting. Even if it wasn't their problem, little things from a paint touch up to fixing a nick from the movers were met with a 'can do' attitude. That level of commitment and support continue to impress us today as we meet other neighbors who have recently moved in and who share a similar experience.

Liz and I couldn't be happier with our Jeff Paul Custom Villa in Cartouche. If we had to do it all again, we'd do it the very same way. It's not often that a homebuyer says that. That's how easy the process was for us with Jeff and how happy we are in our home.

The experience that Lisa and I had working with Jeff and his team (Ryan, Diane and Jennifer) was exceptional. His entire team was professional, courteous, and listened intently to our suggestions and ideas.
